JW Prairie Wind Power (JWPW), a Kansas incorporated LLC, was founded in 2002 and has been operating for 5 years from its offices in Lawrence, Kansas. JWPW is a wholly owned subsidiary of juwi GmbH (Juwi), an international renewable energy company based in Wörrstadt, Germany with over 10 years of renewable project development experience.
JWPW develops wind projects with a primary focus in Kansas, Colorado, Nebraska and Iowa. JWPW has developed a strong network of Midwestern contacts and policy expertise. JWPW is in the process of developing several projects in the U.S. The pipeline of projects encompasses over 750 MW in 6 states.
